Turkey Vulture

A Turkey vulture airs its wings on one of our fence posts.

I took this picture at about dusk, so there is a haze in the tree farm.
This turkey vulture was one of a half dozen milling about in search of a meal.
These birds have a very large wing span and circle the skies riding
the wind currents and updrafts searching the ground for prey.
